Who this page is for
This practice is built for households that already have meaningful capital: typically $1,000,000 or more to invest, often alongside a valuable home, a business, deferred compensation, or a concentrated stock position. Many clients are in their fifties through seventies. They want an advisor who will sit with the whole picture and still pick up the phone.
The geography is deliberate. We focus on coastal New England from Maine through New Hampshire, the Massachusetts North Shore and Cape, and Rhode Island. We are not trying to be a Boston-metro firm. If you live or summer in Marblehead, Newburyport, Portsmouth, Kennebunk, Cape Elizabeth, Newport, or towns like them, you are in the center of this work.
What you should walk away with
A financial plan that is written around your household, not a questionnaire score. Savings, retirement income, taxes, and the estate plan belong in the same conversation as the portfolio.
A fully customized investment portfolio. We do not drop families into a model and call it personal. Public markets, private investments, and interval funds are used when they fit the plan, the liquidity needs, and the risk you can actually live with.
A fiduciary relationship. Vital Investment Management, LLC is fee-only and SEC-registered (CRD 300811). Advice is in your interest. There is no product shelf to clear.
Coastal New England, on purpose
Coastal households often hold wealth in forms that generic national platforms handle poorly: a primary home and a summer house, a family business with local employees, municipal bonds that matter after a high-tax year, or private investments that cannot be sold on a Tuesday. The work is local even when the securities are not.
Read the town pages for Marblehead and the North Shore, the Maine coast, the New Hampshire seacoast, and Rhode Island.
